2017 - Pennant Results Rd7

Peter Muir, Saturday, 22 April 2017

It was again a mixed bag of results for the Bulls today.

Grade 1 had a bye. They are sitting on 38 points and 2nd on the ladder behind Ashfield.

Grade 2 away at the much fancied Mona Vale, unfortunately they were smashed. Now 3rd on the ladder with 34.5 points.

Grade 3 away at St Ives and won by 10 shots. They now have 34.5 points, slipping to 5th on the ladder.

Grade 5 away at Asquith going down by 3 shots. Dropping from 1st place to 2nd with 49.5 points.

Grade 6 at home to the standout Mona Vale team.  It was a hard fought game on all rinks, one win one draw and one loss for 1.5 points. However we could not make up the difference of two shots but in went down to the wire.  One rink dropping a five on the last end when the skip had a brain snap and cleaned us out of the head. The team has 38 points and placed 3rd on the ladder.

Grade 7 at home to the top placed Warrawee. Two rinks went down by a shot each however the reliable Mick Potter stole us a victory. The guys collected 8 points, this was a very good result. Great teamwork by all, Gladys and Deano hung in all day, well done. The team now has 37 points and 3rd on the ladder.
