Results from todays Ladies Pennants Round 7.  Thankfully the weather was OK with some patches of sunlight. There were some dark clouds and a storm threatening around noon but it soon passed allowing all rounds to be completed.

  • Grade 1 played Mosman at home. They picked up 5 points following a big come back on Billie Maas rink, a great effort ladies. They are now 2nd on the ladder with 14 points.
  • Grade 2 played St Ives at home. They also won their game on both rinks, picking up 5 valuable points. This takes them to outright first on 15 points now 4 points clear of Warrawee.
  • Grade 3 Purple played Lane Cove / North Sydney away. Belrose (Blue) won one rink and unfortunately only 1 point. They are now placed 3rd on the ladder.
  • Grade 3 Silver Belrose (Gold) were also away at St Ives. They won both rinks and collected 5 points. A big effort on the tricky St Ives track. With this win they lept from being a cellar dweller to top of the ladder. It is awefully close as only 3 points seperate the whole field. Keep up the good work ladies.

All in all a pretty good outing for our ladies today, well done.
