2017 - Pennant Results Rd4 Caused a Splash.

Peter Muir, Saturday, 25 March 2017

The Bulls again managed to complete a full round of bowls today. There were no surprises with the weather however the two lady umpires were caught by a visitors "tinkle" on one of the floodlight poles. One could say they were a little peed off as a visitor relieved himself on the edge of the green in broad daylight. The wags did say later that he certainly had nothing to brag about. Ho hum the little things we see on the bowling green.

Grade 1 suffered a 1 - 9 loss at the hands of the "Victorian fly in" Ashfield side. You simply have to have a smile to yourself when the opposition don't know club members or  their way around. Along with the scramble to get uniforms.  However that's the current state of bowls. The Bulls are sitting on 19 points, 2nd on the ladder.

Grade 2 home to St Ives and had a 9 - 1 win.  Current results show us in forth place on the ladder with 10 points.  They have 2 games in hand.

Grade 3 away at Pittwater and went down 0 - 10. They were always going to do it tough today with a number of players unavailable. They remain on 19 points, 2nd  on the ladder. They have 1 game in hand.

Grade 5 away at St Ives and won the match 10 - 0.  They are on 21 points and 2nd on the ladder. They have 1 game in hand.

Grade 6 also at home to Warrawee and picked up 9 - 1. They are now on 18 points and 3rd on the ladder. They have 1 game in hand.

Grade 7 at home to Gordon and they had their first win of the season picking up 9 - 1 points. They are now 5th on the ladder with a total of 11 points. They have 1 game in hand.
